River Run ATV Park
River Run ATV Park is a 2,000-acre commercial off-road park along the Neches River in Cherokee County in East Texas, near Jacksonville: a location in the heart of the Pineywoods region where the loblolly pine forest, red clay soil, and the Neches River bottomland combine to create the classic East Texas OHV terrain: wooded double-track, river-bottom mud, deep water crossings, and the seasonal variation that east Texas rainfall produces. The 50+ miles of marked trail are organized around terrain types rather than pure difficulty ratings: wooded forest routes for standard trail riding, dedicated mud bogs for riders who want depth-mud experience, and deep water crossings that test both machine capability and rider judgment on the bottomland sections near the river. The vehicle mix is broad: ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, registered SUVs and Jeeps, and unregistered 4x4s are all permitted on appropriate route designations. Day use starts at $25/adult Sunday through Friday; weekend passes run $30–40/person; major event weekends are $70 all-in. The campground infrastructure is one of the largest at any Texas OHV park: 156 RV sites with power and water hookups at $30/night, 40 cabin rentals at $75–160/night, and tent camping included with admission, a scale that supports large group visits and multi-day event attendance.
